 Nehemies 13v24 i la meitat dels seus fills parlaven asdodià, i no sabien parlar la llengua dels jueus, sinó que parlaven segons la llengua dels diversos pobles. וּבְנֵיהֶ֗ם חֲצִי֙ מְדַבֵּ֣ר אַשְׁדּוֹדִ֔ית וְאֵינָ֥ם מַכִּירִ֖ים לְדַבֵּ֣ר יְהוּדִ֑ית וְכִלְשׁ֖וֹן עַ֥ם וָעָֽם׃  And their children <01121> spake <01696> (08764) half <02677> in the speech of Ashdod <0797>, and could <05234> (08688) not speak <01696> (08763) in the Jews' language <03066>, but according to the language <03956> of each <05971> people <05971>.
