I ells saltaven entorn de l’altar que hom havia fet.וַ֠יִּקְחוּ אֶת־הַפָּ֙ר אֲשֶׁר־נָתַ֣ן לָהֶם֮ וַֽיַּעֲשׂוּ֒ וַיִּקְרְא֣וּ בְשֵׁם־הַ֠בַּעַל מֵהַבֹּ֙קֶר וְעַד־הַצָּהֳרַ֤יִם לֵאמֹר֙ הַבַּ֣עַל עֲנֵ֔נוּ וְאֵ֥ין ק֖וֹל וְאֵ֣ין עֹנֶ֑ה וַֽיְפַסְּח֔וּ עַל־הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ אֲשֶׁ֥ר עָשָֽׂה׃  And they took <03947> (08799) the bullock <06499> which was given <05414> (08804) them, and they dressed <06213> (08799) it, and called <07121> (08799) on the name <08034> of Baal <01168> from morning <01242> even until noon <06672>, saying <0559> (08800), O Baal <01168>, hear <06030> (08798) us. But there was no <0369> voice <06963>, nor any that answered <06030> (08802). And they leaped <06452> (08762) upon the altar <04196> which was made <06213> (08804).
