Jonàs 1v13 Tanmateix, aquells homes van remar per tornar a la terra eixuta, però no podien, perquè el mar se’ls tornava cada cop més tempestuós.

וַיַּחְתְּר֣וּ הָאֲנָשִׁ֗ים לְהָשִׁ֛יב אֶל־הַיַּבָּשָׁ֖ה וְלֹ֣א יָכֹ֑לוּ כִּ֣י הַיָּ֔ם הוֹלֵ֥ךְ וְסֹעֵ֖ר עֲלֵיהֶֽם׃

Nevertheless the men <0582> rowed hard <02864> (08799) to bring <07725> (08687) it to the land <03004>; but they could <03201> (08804) not: for the sea <03220> wrought <01980> (08802), and was tempestuous <05590> (08802) against them.
